This is what I eat in an average day. Given the amount I exercise (5-7 hours a week normally), I'm only regularly eating about half as many calories as I need to maintain my weight, although I make up a lot of the difference with alcohol, miscellaneous fruit snacks (I have plums and a mango today) and random binge eating on the weekends. It's surprising how slowly you lose weight with such a large calorie deficit, I've been doing this for a month now and have lost a couple pounds but that's it. That weight was almost all fat though, my body fat is noticeably lower; my caliper says I'm down by about 1.5%.
Anyway there is a ton of fitness information out there of course, I just wanted to share what I've actually been doing. Oh and I should point out that I feel great. Healthy and energetic. I just did 15 miles on my bike at about 17 mph, now I'm home and getting ready to do an ab workout.

So I can close my 140lb gripper now. I can do about 3 reps, fully closed.
"Most people who lift weights can't close this gripper... most strong guys cannot close the No. 1 the first time they try. This is the benchmark gripper for having a good, strong grip... people whose grip strength is exceptionally strong from using their hands daily in their work."
Might have to order the 195lb one soon! |

them: "Hello, Monterey Airport parking."
me: "Yeah, do you have bicycle parking?"
them: "This is parking."
me: "Right. Do you have bicycle parking?"
them: "Bicycle parking?"
me: "Yes. Parking. For bicycles. Is there anywhere to park bikes there?"
them: "I.... don't think so?"
me: "This is the parking garage right? Uh, can I ride my bike to the airport and park it there?"
them: "Um. I don't think so?"
me: "Great, thanks. Bye." |

me: "Nah already checked that one. I'll look on the website I guess." *gets out iPhone*
guy: "Oh man I hate those things."
me: "Huh? Why?"
guy: "My fingers are too fat to use them."

Here I am playing with one of the neighborhood kitties!

She followed me down to the end of the block but wouldn't cross the street. |
